I obtained my basic medical qualifications (MBBS) in 1984 and registered medical practitioner in 1987. I undertook broad based training in Obs and Gynae in India in University Hospitals and trained in the UK since 1994 in big DGHs and Liverpool Women's Hospital. I achieved CCST from Mersey Deanery in 2000. I have held Consultant appointments since June 2001, initially at Ysbyty Gwynedd, Bangor and currently at Wrexham Maelor.
My special Interests are in foetal ultrasound including antenatal screening, management of menstrual disorders and genital prolapse, and minimal access surgery.

I am married and my wife is a Gynaecologist and Obstetrician at the Wrexham Maelor Hospital. I am keen on physical fitness, playing squash and cricket. I run for pleasure and to raise charity funds.
