Professional profile
I am a Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon and I have had over 30 years of experience working both in the NHS and private hospitals. I am now focusing solely on providing care within private hospitals.
Having undergone final speciality training at Leeds Teaching Hospitals, and further training in Advanced GI Physiology at Coventry, I specialised in Bowel Dysfunction Disorders. I then went on to take up various roles within the NHS department including serving as a clinical lead for Colorectal Cancer Services as well as a lead for Clinicial Audits.
I have an interest in cancer screening and Ano-Rectal conditions, particularly in performing minimally invasive Haemorrhoid surgery which utilises the latest innovative technologies such as Doppler guided ligation's (THD) and Ultroid.
