I have extensive experience in all areas within vascular surgery. I was appointed to a Consultant Vascular Surgeon post in 2001 at the South Manchester University Hospitals Trust. I returned to Leicester in August 2005 to take up post as a Consultant Vascular / Endovascular Surgeon.
I graduated from University of Aberdeen Medical School in 1990. After completion of basic surgical training I undertook two years of research at the University of Leicester and obtained a MD. My research involved setting up endovascular aneurysm surgery in the Leicester vascular unit. I undertook my general surgery and vascular training in Leicester.
Special Clinical Interests: Carotid disease, aortic aneurysms, peripheral vascular disease, varicose veins, leg ulceration, facial flushing, palm and axillary sweating.
