I am a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon at Spire Gatwick Park Hospital. My clinical practice involves performing the full remit of oncoplastic breast surgery, including breast reconstruction in conjunction with plastic surgery or implant and LD flaps, therapeutic mammoplasty and sentinel node biopsy.
I am a clinical lecturer to breast trainees in the London Deanery and teach on Oncoplastic skills courses. I am also an examiner for Brighton Medical School.
I have a strong background in oncoplastic breast surgery having previously worked as a consultant at the renowned Royal Marsden Hospital before taking up my post at East Surrey Hospital. I studied medicine at Charing Cross and Westminster school, where I undertook a BSc and was awarded a First Class Honours Degree. I received specialist training in the South West Thames region.
All of my breast cancer patients are discussed at the cancer network multidisciplinary team meeting. I use my skills to minimise the cosmetic impact of breast cancer surgery and to preserve breast aesthetics where possible.
