After training in general surgery, Miss Shah chose to specialise in the field of breast surgery and has worked in several major breast units around the country and has also completed a Fellowship Year in Breast Reconstructive Surgery. Since her appointment to her first consultant post, as a specialist in the management of breast disease, Miss Shah has been setting up a service of delivery of care to patients with breast disease, both benign and malignant.
Miss Shah works in a multi-disciplinary team with other specialists such as radiologists, oncologists and breast care nurses, and has referral links with the breast-screening unit at Brighton.
Miss Shah also undertakes breast reconstruction surgery for cancer patients.
