MBBS MRCGP Hon Lecturer UEA Med
I am an experienced General Practitioner (GP) and Menopause Specialist based near Norwich, with several years of experience supporting patients through all stages of life—from children and families to women navigating perimenopause and menopause. My particular expertise lies in women’s health, hormone management, and menopause care, helping women feel informed, balanced, and confident through evidence-based, personalised treatment. I combine medical expertise with a compassionate, whole-person approach that looks at lifestyle, mental wellbeing, and long-term health. My patients value my warm, collaborative style and my focus on clear, practical advice that helps them feel understood and supported.
I provide a full range of general practice care for adults and children, alongside specialist support for women’s health and menopause management. My areas of expertise include perimenopause and menopause assessment, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), and the management of complex or early menopause symptoms. I also help women with menstrual and premenstrual concerns, contraception, and reproductive health issues. In addition to medical treatments, I take a holistic approach, offering guidance on lifestyle, nutrition, mental wellbeing, and long-term health to support women through every stage of life.
Over the course of my career as a General Practitioner, I have supported thousands of patients with a wide range of health concerns, from everyday family medicine to complex women’s health and menopause care. I regularly manage patients with perimenopausal and menopausal symptoms, hormone replacement therapy (HRT), and contraceptive and menstrual issues, as well as providing preventative health advice and lifestyle support. I work closely with other menopause specialists through Norfolk Menopause, participating in regular multidisciplinary meetings to ensure my patients benefit from the latest evidence-based treatments. My approach is shaped by both experience and continued professional development, allowing me to provide compassionate, up-to-date, and personalised care to every patient I see.
In addition to my general practice work, I am part of the Norfolk Menopause team, where I collaborate with other menopause specialists to share knowledge, review complex cases, and ensure the highest standard of care. I am a member of the British Menopause Society (BMS), the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), and the Primary Care Women’s Health Forum (PCWHF). I am also completing additional training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to better support women with the psychological aspects of menopause. My aim is to provide a supportive, inclusive, and evidence-based service where patients feel listened to, understood, and empowered to take control of their health and wellbeing.

Outside of work, I live on a smallholding just outside Norwich with my husband and two daughters. I love spending time with my family, outdoors and enjoy strength training, and travelling, especially to visit my family in Sweden. I'm passionate about healthy living and good food—whether that's cooking at home or discovering new places to eat. Wild swimming and saunas, even in the colder months, helps me stay grounded, resilient, and connected to nature.
