Haematology: Blood transfusion, Haematological oncology.
I graduated from India and came to the UK in 1996. After taking MRCP, I completed haematology specialist training in London, attending prestigious institutions such as Royal Free Hospital, Hammersmith Hospital and UCLH.
I started as a Consultant in HHammersmith in 2005 and then joined Western Sussex Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in 2006, mainly based in Worthing Hospital.
I am currently clinical lead for chemotherapy at Worthing Hospital and Lead Clinician for blood transfusion at Western Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. I am also the Principal Investigator for a number of clinical trials in Haematology.
I list haematology including treatment of lymphoma, leukaemia, myeloma, disorders of red cells and thrombosis and haemostasis as my interests. Thrombophilia screening and peri-operative optimisation of anaemia and thrombosis reduction are my other areas of interest.
