"Spire St Anthony's Hospital has fantastic cardiac inpatient and outpatient facilities. There is a great sense of pride among staff in the care they deliver for patients and a great team spirit at the hospital."
I am a Consultant Cardiologist with an interest in all forms of arrhythmia management, in particular, ablation of arrhythmias and implantation of pacemakers and defibrillators. I have been a consultant since 2013.
I have worked at King's College Hospital since September 2015, and prior to this I had worked as a consultant cardiologist at Ashford and St Peter's, Kingston, and St George's Hospitals.
I specialise in the ablation of arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, supraventricular tachycardia (SVT), Wolf Parkinson White syndrome, accessory pathways, ventricular ectopic beats and ventricular tachycardia. I implant single lead, dual lead and biventricular pacemakers and defibrillators.
I also assess and manage patients with a variety of cardiac problems including palpitations, dizzy spells, high blood pressure, chest pain and breathlessness.
To date I have performed over 1,000 ablation procedures and over 1,000 pacemaker and defibrillator implantations. I currently perform three operating lists per week in both my NHS and private practice.
I am Lead for the Cardiovascular Clinical Governance Committee at King's College Hospital and head of a medical school firm at King's College Hospital.
