Mr Kapoor's early post exam training was at the Royal Preston covering the whole range of elective and trauma shoulder surgery including shoulder arthroscopy and arthroplasty.
His fellowship at Wrightington Hospital provided operative experience in high volumes of all aspects of upper limb surgery with supervised and independent operating lists and clinic responsibilities. Mr Kapoor was also a member of the Medical Relief Unit, organising theatre camps, relief camps and transfer of patients during the Gujarat earthquake in 2001 and supported relief work for the Darjeeling, India ropeway crash in 2003.
