BSc, MBBCh, MMed, FRCS, FCS A– Plastic Surgery (SA)
My areas of special interest are all types of surgery of the breast including asymmetries and short scar reductions and uplifts and congenital breast deformities.
After qualifying as a plastic surgeon in South Africa in 1994, I worked as a consultant in Johannesburg for a year. I furthered my training in breast surgery in Belgium where I worked with a world renowned breast surgeon before coming to England in 1996. After eight and half years in the NHS, first in Slough, and then in Bristol, I decided to try and establish a better work-life balance and now work exclusively in private practice in Bristol.
All patients are seen by myself before and after their operations. Patients are followed up for five years after major operations, ensuring patient satisfaction.

Family life is important to me and I enjoy spending time with my husband and four children. My other passion is Sculpture, which I have done for most of my life. I work in clay and sculpt mainly the human form. I have done a number of portrait busts, including one of Professor Averil Mansfield for the Royal College of Surgeons in London. My works are in private collections around the world.
