Dr Marko Bogdanovic is a Consultant Neurologist at Spire Dunedin Hospital, the Royal Berkshire Hospital and the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. After graduating in medicine from the University of Manchester he undertook postgraduate training in London at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Queen Square, and at the Radcliffe Infirmary in Oxford. He obtained his research doctorate in functional magnetic resonance imaging of the brain at the FMRIB centre, University of Oxford.
Dr Bogdanovic sees patients with all general neurological problems and carries out nerve conduction studies and EMG for the investigation of disorders of the peripheral nervous system. He has a special interest in Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders, and is the clinical lead for Parkinson’s disease in Berkshire. He is also chief neurologist at the functional neurosurgery unit at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford. This is an internationally-renowned centre for deep brain stimulation to treat Parkinson’s disease, dystonia and tremor.
