Our consultant surgeons, physiotherapists, radiologists and specialist nursing staff all work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver expert orthopaedic care. Our consultants hold specialist NHS posts delivering expertise in complex sub-specialty surgery which they undertake on a regular basis.
Services at the Bone and Joint Clinic
Our clinic provides:
- Treatment for patients undergoing complex orthopaedic surgery including a high dependency unit
- Experienced musculoskeletal radiologists and imaging facilities such as MRI (available 7 days a week), CT scanning and ultrasound
- On-site 24 hour resident doctor
- Access to other clinical specialties as required
Physiotherapy at the Bone and Joint Clinic
Our physiotherapy team work very closely with the Bone and Joint Clinic and offer a wide range of services to help you back to full fitness.
The team is made up of Chartered Physiotherapists registered with the Health Professionals Council and are highly experienced in all aspects of musculoskeletal orthopaedics. Between them, they can assess and treat any region of the body and offer a wealth of expertise to assist with your recovery. All of our physiotherapists have particular areas of clinical interest or research experience.
