There are a range of urological conditions that reflect the unique anatomy of a woman and some of these are very common. At Spire Cardiff Hospital we understand that it can be uncomfortable and even distressing when you experience intimate health symptoms. At the female urology clinic we pride ourselves in offering prompt access to leading urologists who specialise in diagnosing and treating female related conditions.

Our consultants

Our leading female urology consultants, Mr Shibbs Datta and Mr Oleg Tatarov, have extensive experience in assessing and treating even the most complex urology cases. They both have a wealth of experience from their local NHS posts where they practice at the University Hospital of Wales.

Mr Datta and Mr Tatarov run a tertiary referral service for complex female urological conditions accepting referrals from South Wales and beyond. In addition, Mr Tatarov’s practice involves the care of patients with neuro-urological conditions such as MS (multiple sclerosis) affecting mostly women.
