What happens in my appointment?

Your appointment will be with an experienced consultant breast surgeon and a specialist breast nurse.

At the initial assessment, your consultant will discuss your concerns and take a full medical history.

Before any diagnostic tests are completed, your consultant will carry out a breast examination so that a decision can be made on which investigations should be undertaken to suit your individual needs. The team aim to carry out all the investigations needed at your first appointment using state-of-the-art equipment that can help detect breast abnormalities.

How long will my appointment take?

Each situation is different depending on each individual case.

Due to the level of care and the number of tests involved, as a guide we advise patients to allow up to 3 hours for a full assessment.

How much will everything cost?

Spire Bushey is recognised by all major insurance companies and is a Bupa accredited breast care centre.

An initial consultation with a breast care consultant costs from £200. We are unable to advise a fixed price for the triple assessment breast clinic as the tests required vary from patient to patient.

If you are not insured and wish to self fund your treatment our dedicated advisors will be able to talk you through prices for each of the tests that may be required during your visit. Call them on 020 8901 5505 for further details.
