Spire Roding Consultants Are Recognised and Awarded for their Commitment to Training Their Junior Colleagues

Spire Roding’s Consultant General Surgeon Mr Aman Bhargava and his wife Neelu attended a formal ceremony at Westminster where he was presented with the Outstanding Clinician Achievement award by Essex MP Stephen Metcalf.
Mr Aman Bhargava, who works at Spire Roding Hospital said: “It was amazing to go to the House of Commons and see the Palace of Westminster. I was really proud to receive the award – I’m passionate about training and that’s one of the things it recognises.”
Orthopaedic Consultant Mr Krishna Vemulapalli also working at Spire Roding Hospital was a winner in the first Postgraduate Medical and Dental Education Awards, run by UCL Partners. He was also highly commended in the Clinical Supervisor of the Year category.
Mr Vemulapalli said: “I have been appointed as Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon since 2007/2008. Since then I have been working hard and concentrating in teaching/training registrars. I am proud that all my efforts have been recognised by being nominated and winning awards for three years running. I am passionate about teaching and training; it also helps me to gain more knowledge as well as delivering the best possible treatment to my patients”
