Mr Funmi Odusoga
MBChB DFRSH MRCOG
"I'm proud to work at Spire Cheshire, the atmosphere is serene and the staff are supportive."
I am an experienced gynaecologist with a special interest in key hole surgery and chronic pelvic pain. I listen to patient concerns and adopt an individualised patient centered approach in managing conditions.
My experience encompasses the breadth of benign gynaecology and reproductive health. I was one of a few gynaecologists in the United Kingdom selected in 2015 to participate in the Ethicon / BSGE Advanced Laparoscopic training programme, which took place across different hospitals in the UK and in Hamburg.
I specialise in laparoscopic hysterectomy (key hole surgery), laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy, laparoscopic treatment of mild and moderate endometriosis; pelvic floor surgery, hysteroscopic surgery, and abdominal hysterectomy.
I have also performed more than 500 laparoscopic surgeries and over 1000 hysteroscopic surgeries. And I was also the Governance Lead for the Gynaecology Department at Warrington and Halton Hospital, as well as an associate college tutor and postgraduate teaching at the Royal Bolton Hospital.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Mr Funmi Odusoga at Spire include:
