If you are having or have had weight loss surgery at Spire Bushey Hospital, you will be invited to attend the monthly weight loss support group without further charge or time limit. If you are thinking about having weight loss surgery and want to find out more about it from other weight loss surgery patients then you are welcome to attend one of the support group sessions free of charge.
The weight loss surgery group is held monthly at Spire Bushey Hospital. It provides an opportunity for patients who are having or have had bariatric surgery at the hospital to share experiences, challenges and helpful ideas and tips.
If you are a previous patient of ours, there is no further charge or time limit in attending the support group. If you are thinking about having weight loss surgery and want to find out more about it from other weight loss surgery patients then you are welcome to attend one of the support group sessions free of charge.
Our Specialist Bariatric Dietitian, Gill Cuffaro leads the monthly support group and delivers an educational presentation during every session along the themes of:
One of our experienced bariatric consultants usually attends the group and is available to answer any questions you may have.
The support group takes place on the first Tuesday of every month between 7pm - 9pm in the restaurant at Spire Bushey Hospital.
Pre-booking is not essential as you can just turn up on the night, but it is helpful if you are able to let us know if you are coming by emailing the team at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 020 8901 5505.
