I am a Consultant Urological Surgeon specialising in robotic surgery, prostate conditions, urinary tract cancers, kidney stones and men’s health. I treat both common and complex urological conditions, combining the latest minimally invasive techniques with personalised care to help patients recover as quickly as possible. I am one of the few surgeons in the region to offer advanced robotic surgery for kidney and prostate conditions, alongside a comprehensive range of treatments for enlarged prostate (including Aquablation), urinary symptoms and urinary tract disorders.
I diagnose and treat a wide range of urological conditions including enlarged prostate (BPH), raised PSA, prostate cancer, kidney cancer, bladder cancer, kidney stones, blood in the urine, recurrent urinary tract infections, urinary symptoms, overactive bladder, urinary retention, hydroceles, foreskin problems and men’s health concerns. My specialist treatments include robotic surgery for prostate and kidney cancer, Aquablation therapy, TURP, GreenLight laser prostate surgery, Rezūm, ureteroscopy and laser stone surgery, flexible cystoscopy, prostate biopsies, vasectomy, circumcision, bladder Botox injections and reconstructive urological surgery including pyeloplasty and ureteric reconstruction.
Over the course of my career I have performed several thousand urological procedures across both the NHS and private sector, including hundreds of major cancer and reconstructive operations. My practice includes advanced robotic surgery for prostate and kidney cancer, as well as high-volume surgery for enlarged prostate, kidney stones and other common urological conditions. I am committed to delivering evidence-based care using the latest surgical techniques, with a strong focus on safety, excellent functional outcomes and helping patients return to normal life as quickly as possible.
Alongside my private practice, I am an NHS Consultant Urological Surgeon at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, where I specialise in robotic urological surgery. I am actively involved in clinical research, surgical training and the development of new techniques to improve patient care. I regularly teach and mentor surgeons in training and remain committed to delivering the highest standards of evidence-based, compassionate care to every patient.
