I am a consultant at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) specialising in hip and knee surgery, as well as bone and soft tissue tumours. I trained in medicine at University College London, qualifying in 1993. In 1997 I became a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and in 2003 I joined the specialist register in orthopaedic surgery, after gaining the FRCS (Tr&Orth) qualification.
My orthopaedic training took place at UCLH and the RNOH. I also undertook fellowships in Sydney, Australia and Denver, USA, where I gained experience in hip and knee replacement (including revision) and the management of patients with bone and soft tissue tumours.
I have published numerous papers on joint reconstruction and bone and soft tissue tumours and continue to engage in clinical research. I regularly attend national and international meetings and am a member of the British Orthopaedic Association and the British Orthopaedic Oncology Society.
I travel the world lecturing on my areas of expertise.
