Professional profile

I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust, the UK's largest independent Orthopaedic Hospital. ! qualified from St George's Hospital Medical School (University of London) in 2000 and trained in Orthopaedic Surgery throughout London and the South East of England. Thereafter I completed my Orthopaedic training on the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital Stanmore Rotation. In 2012 I was awarded a Fellowship in Orthopaedic Oncology and Lower Limb Reconstruction at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Sydney, Australia.

I gained the specialist Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery in 2011. I was appointed as a consultant in 2014 and have helped to transform and develop the sub-specialty oncology service at The London Sarcoma Service into one of the best in the Europe. I work on the Joint Reconstruction Unit managing complex primary and revision joint replacements surgery cases. I am regularly invited to share my expertise and insights with colleagues in the UK as well as internationally.

My specialist interests are Knee and Hip Joint Replacement and Revision arthroplasty surgery. I look after adults and children with complex knee problems. I specialise in arthroscopic surgery, joint preservation and stem cell treatment ensuring that patients haveI the best possible outcomes. I also treat conditions such as trochanteric bursitis, tendinosis and a variety of sports injuries. I have a specialist interest in the management of Bone and soft tissue sarcoma. I treat a variety of benign bone tumours as well as treating patients with metastatic cancer when it has spread to their joints and bone.
