I qualified at London University and received my orthopaedic training as a registrar and lecturer in Leicester. Following this training, I was appointed senior registrar at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, in Stanmore. I was a senior lecturer and honorary consultant at Stanmore, before moving to East Hertfordshire.
In addition to a general orthopaedic service, I have a particular interest in hip replacement in younger patients. This is in keeping with my overall interest in the management of sports injury and early degenerative joint disease in athletes.
