I have been a Consultant Urological Surgeon since 2001. I trained in the UK with a fellowship in Brisbane, Australia and additional specialist surgical training in Paris, Belgium and Denmark.
I have a busy general adult and paediatric urology practice with a special interest in urinary stones, cancer / masses of the kidney, abnormal PSA tests, scrotal swellings and troublesome bladder symptoms. I utilise minimally invasive surgery for BPH prostate enlargement and laparoscopy.
To date I have performed over a thousand prostate operations, 600 kidney operations, 500 ureteroscopies and thousands of scrotal operations and bladder cystoscopies. I offer a patient-focused, evidenced, up to date but compassionate service to all patients.
I am an advisor to two medical insurance companies. In the NHS I was Cancer Lead, MDT Chair and Governance Lead.
I am a visiting Professor to a hospital group and university in the Middle East and was a lecturer at the Universities of Birmingham England and Queensland, Australia.
I am a teacher, trainer and mentor to other surgeons and an appraiser of consultant colleagues.
