I am a General Urologist and happy to consultant on a wide range of issues from PSA concerns to urinary issues. I am hugely experienced having been a consultant for 17 years.
I am recognised nationally as an authority in benign prostate surgery (BPH), with particular expertise in Holmium Laser Enucleation of the Prostate (HoLEP), which is considered the gold standard procedure, especially for managing large prostates and patients experiencing urinary retention. I also carry out Aquablation and other less invasive procedures.
I also have a subspecialist interest in paediatric and adolescent urology and am happy to advise on all conditions from antenatal concerns over kidney dilatation to adolescent issues.
I like to think I have a very straightforward approach. I am naturally cheery and will do as much investigation in the clinic as possible to enable you to leave with an opinion and understanding of what your issue is, and what treatment options are available.
I trained at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, St Mary's and Mount Vernon. I completed a research MD at the Royal Free. I undertook specialist paediatric training at Great Ormond Street, Southampton and UCH and have maintained close links with these hospitals.
