I am a consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist working in Royal Free London NHS Trust based at Barnet/ Chase Farm Hospital. My special areas of interest are menstrual disorders, fibroids, PCOS, pelvic pain, endometriosis, miscarriage, menopause, HRT, sexual health, and colposcopy/ management of abnormal smears.
I am an experienced surgeon with excellent outcomes. I am proficient in open and laparoscopic surgery. I offer hysteroscopic surgery especially hysteroscopic resection of fibroids and removal of polyps. I am trained in outpatient removal of polyps using Truclear without the need for anaesthesia, hospital admission thereby quick recovery for the women. I believe in holistic approach to the management of the women’s health conditions. I firmly believe in one stop management options for menstrual disorders and endometrial polyps.
I am actively involved in clinical governance and is the audit lead for women’s health at Barnet Hospital. I am a keen trainer and have successfully led the Simulation based teaching for the multidisciplinary team. I am trained in PROMPT and am part of the PROMPT team for the teaching and training in my trust. I am the lead for Colposcopy services at Barnet Hospital. I also work in CCG commissioned community gynaecology clinics at various locations in and around North London.
I did my training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from London Deanery. I am an accredited colposcopist by RCOG/BSCCP. I have done advanced training in hysteroscopic surgery.
