Dr Roberto Alonzi
Consultant Oncologist

I am a Medical Research Council Clinician Scientist with a special interest in prostate cancer. I also hold appointments as a Consultant Clinical Oncologist at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre and as a Senior Lecturer at University College London.
I trained at Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospitals in London. Following general training and membership of the Royal College of Physicians, I undertook specialist training at Hammersmith Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital and Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, resulting in a Fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists in 2004. I went on to complete my research degree at the Gray Cancer Institute and University College London and was awarded an MD in 2008.
I currently sit on the National Cancer Research Institute, low-risk prostate cancer group and the bladder cancer chemo-radiotherapy group.
