I am on the General Medical Council specialist register for oral and maxillofacial surgery and also on the General Dental Council specialist register for oral surgery. I work with the specialist multidisciplinary teams in head and neck oncology and also in dermatology for skin cancer. I provide services across head and neck oncology, skin lesions, trauma, facial plastic surgery, general and oral surgical conditions.
In my clinics, I take time to listen carefully and to explain diagnoses and treatment options clearly, so you feel informed and confident about your care. I treat a wide range of oral, facial, head and neck problems, including cheek and chin reduction/augmentation, facial reconstruction, facial skin cancer, facial skin lesions and moles, jaw and face pain, lichen planus, marionette lines, micro-vascular reconstructive surgery, minimally invasive facial rejuvenation (Botox® and fillers) as well as facial plastic surgery, nasal hump reduction, oral bone graft procedures, oral cancer, oral medicine, oral white or red patch removal/biopsy, salivary gland disease, TMJ dysfunction, TMJ surgery including arthroscopy and treatment of gummy smile.
I have an international reputation in facial cosmetics and treating facial conditions. I regularly run courses both nationally and internationally teaching other health professionals on surgical and non-surgical facial cosmetics.
I completed both my medical and dental degrees at Jordan University of Science and Technology. I undertook part of my basic surgical training in Jordan before moving to the UK where I finished my basic surgical training then moved onto higher surgical training in Trent Region from 2007-2012. In 2013 I was appointed as a consultant in oral and maxillofacial surgery and dental implantology at Lincoln County Hospital after which I moved on to the North West to join the team at North Manchester General Hospital as a consultant in maxillofacial, head and neck surgical oncology and reconstruction.
I am the associate editor-in-chief and co-founder for the international trainee journal of oral and maxillofacial surgery (face, mouth and Jaw surgery journal), I have 12 publications and more than 65 oral/poster presentations.
