Some of the principal treatments carried out by Mr Sameh Dimitri at Spire include:
I have been working as a consultant vascular and endovascular surgeon for the last 18 years. I am specialised in minimally invasive treatment for varicose veins and short and long term management of deep vein thrombosis. I have also specialised in treating TIAs and carotid endarterectomies under local anaesthetic. I also have a special interest in treating thoracic outlet syndrome, which requires first rib resection. This is beside all major complex procedures such as endovascular repair (keyhole) of abdominal aortic aneurysms and peripheral vascular disease and atherosclerosis.
I have also worked as a clinical advisor for NICE (National Institute of Clinical Excellence) on new devices which gave me increased knowledge into minimally invasive treatments for varicose veins as well as anti DVT protection devices.
