I gained my first medical qualification in 1998 and I have since spent over ten years training in the Mersey region. During my specialist training I have worked in most hospitals in the region and gained extremely valuable experience. I have a sub-specialty interest in conditions affecting the bowel, particularly inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), upper gastrointestinal cancers and therapeutic endoscopy.
At Warrington Hospital I am the lead of the gastrointestinal bleed service, nutrition and endoscopy training. I play an active role in service development and have developed various local guidelines/protocols and pathways.

I live in Manchester with my wife, who is a general practitioner and my two children. I am a family man who likes to spend time with my children and keep them entertained. I enjoy dining out, going to the cinema and listening to the latest music. My hobbies include cycling and swimming.
