I am a dedicated and capable consultant with a lot of experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. I am a Consultant Urogynaecologist (prolapse and incontinence) and the Divisional Director for Women and Children's Services and Consultant Obstetrician Gynaecologist at West Hertfordshire Hospitals Trust.
I am a member of the British Society for Urogynaecology and until recently a member of West of Scotland Urogynaecology and Pelvic floor Advisory Committee.
I have broad knowledge and skills in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and carry out all major gynaecological surgery such as hysterectomy, laparoscopy (keyhole surgery) for ovarian cysts, key hysterectomy, removal of ovaries, endometriosis surgery and prolapse surgery.
I am currently the Divisional Director for Women and Children's Services and a member of the hospital board at West Hertfordshire Hospitals Trust.
I am assistant convenor for part 1 membership exams of the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologists.
I am a member of the Global Health Division of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.
I am a facilitator for the London and Liverpool schools of tropical medicine, volunteering and teaching maternal health courses both in the UK and low resource countries. I am also a member of the UK emergency medical response team.
