I am a Consultant General Surgeon. I perform laparoscopic inguinal hernia repairs extraperitoneally (TEPP) which facilitates treatment of all groin hernias and incisional hernias. I perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy including dilatations and insertion of stents, as well as colonoscopies.
I am trained in laparoscopic anti-reflux surgery, diaphragmatic hernia, inguinal and incisional hernia repair.
My practice includes general surgery, benign and malignant GI surgery, advanced laparoscopic surgery and hepatobiliary surgery.
I am an experienced bariatric surgeon and perform insertion of intragastric balloons, Obalon, laparoscopic gastric banding, sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass and revisional bariatric surgery.
My special interest is oesophago-gastric surgery which includes the management of acid reflux disease in the form of laparoscopic hiatus hernia repair, fundoplication, giant hiatus hernia repair and achalasia cardia. I perform minimally invasive oesophagectomies (MIO) and gastrectomies for cancers and GIST tumors.
