I am a specialist in all general ear, nose and throat problems. In particular I am an expert in disorders of the throat, mouth and neck including neck lumps, tonsil problems, salivary gland problems and thyroid nodules. I also have a specialist interest in voice and swallowing issues.
I regularly perform operations for throat cancers, mouth cancers and both malignant and benign lumps in the neck, parotid and thyroid glands. At the end of my ENT training, I was appointed as The Royal College of Surgeons Fellow in Laryngology gaining expertise in the management of voice, swallowing and upper airway problems. Since then, I have helped many actors, singers and other professional voice users.
I regularly treat patients for a range of common ENT problems including nose and sinus problems, ear wax and infections, hearing loss and tonsillitis. I can perform endoscopy of the throat and voice box during appointments as a one-stop procedure and also perform microsuction wax clearance, cautery for nose bleeds and hearing tests in outpatients thereby reducing the need for further appointments.
In addition to major cancer surgery and thyroidectomy operations I also perform surgery for more common ENT conditions such as grommets, septoplasty, tonsillectomy, voice surgery and nasal polyp or sinus surgery.
