I have over 20 years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. I initially trained in India in the largest tertiary hospital in Asia and achieved a Gold Medal in MD. I subsequently trained in the UK at the Royal Free Hospital in London.

I joined West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals as a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 2018 and work at Watford General Hospital and St Albans City Hospital. I am the Lead for Obstetric Medicine at the Trust.

I run general Gynaecology clinics and Gynaecology theatre sessions performing surgeries including laparoscopic treatment of endometriosis, laparoscopic and open hysterectomy, myomectomy, hysteroscopic procedures etc.

I have presented in National and International conferences and have a keen interest in research. I am a member of the BSGE- British Society of Gynaecological Endoscopy.

I was the Principal Investigator for PARROT-2 Trial at our Trust which was subsequently published in Lancet in 2024. This also led to introduction of placental growth factor testing in women with suspected pre-eclampsia.

I am currently a Principal Investigator for PROTECT study PRegnancy Outcomes using continuous glucose monitoring TEChnology in pregnant women with Type 2 diabetes A multicentre randomised controlled trial of the clinical and cost-effectiveness of using continuous glucose monitoring in pregnant women with type 2 diabetes.
