I qualified from University of Bristol in 1988 and undertook Radiology training at Barts and The London NHS Hospitals with sub-speciality breast imaging training undertaken at Nottingham Breast Insitute in 1997.
I was appointed Consultant Radiologist at Northwick Park Hospital in 1998 and Director of Screening at the North of London Breast Screening Service, Royal Free in 1999. I specialise in ultrasound and biopsy techniques including image guided vacuum excision of benign lesions with expertise in Breast MRI and MRI guided vacuum biopsies. I have chaired breast cancer and imaging boards and participated in standard settings for breast cancer and screening including NHSBSP and NICE.
