I am a Consultant Medical Oncologist at Royal Free and Barnet hospital with over 10 years’ experience. I specialise in early and late breast cancer and have expertise in chemotherapy, immunotherapy, target therapy and hormonal therapy.
I am Clinical Lead for oncology and palliative care at Royal Free Hospital and lead the team to ensure we meet the demands of the current oncological landscape. I am an active researcher recruiting patients into phase II and III breast cancer clinical trials and a Principal Investigator in research and phase II trials. I have a particular interest in triple negative breast cancer and breast cancer genetics and was the lead for BRCA-Direct study at Royal Free Hospital.
I have a keen interest in education and am the undergraduate lead for oncology at Royal Free and Barnet Hospital for UCL students, an educational supervisor for postgraduate trainees and part of the Question Writing Committee for the Specialist Certificate Exam in Medical Oncology. I have given multiple national and local talks in breast cancer.
I qualified in medicine from The Royal Free and University College London Medical School and completed an MD(Res) in early triple negative breast cancer as a Cridlan Clinical Fellow at The Royal Marsden Hospital and Institute of Cancer Research. I have a PG(cert) in medical education and am a Honorary Clinical Associate Professor at University College London.
