I am a breast cancer specialist and I have particular expertise in breast reconstruction and in oncoplastic surgery. I came to Manchester in 1993, having trained in surgery at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and St George's Hospital. My research interests are in breast cancer prevention strategies.

I run a One Stop Breast Clinic at Spire Manchester Hospital twice a week and see patients with a wide range of breast problems. If you have a concern about a breast symptom or wish to seek advice about breast health, breast screening, your family history of cancer or on ways to reduce your risk, then please arrange an appointment.

I am the chairman of Prevent Breast Cancer, which has planned and built Europe's first Breast Cancer Prevention Centre. The Genesis Prevention Centre is in Manchester at Wythenshawe Hospital and opened in 2007.
