I was appointed as consultant orthopaedic surgeon in 2011. I specialise in hip and knee replacement including minimally invasive and 3D customised joint replacement surgery. I am one of the very few surgeons that perform the highest number of joint replacement surgeries in the North West. I am the first surgeon to perform the 3D customised ConforMIS knee replacement in the region. I am the only specialist trained in hip arthroscopy and young adult surgery and have performed more than 120 hip arthroscopy procedures a year in the Cheshire and Mersey region. I have treated many national and regional sports personnel with sports injuries.
I am fellowship trained in treating hip and knee problems for all age groups above 16 years old. I specialise in hip and knee replacements including minimally invasive surgeries, hip and knee arthroscopies and 3D printed customised hip and knee replacements. I have a special interest in treating young adult hip problems and sports injuries to do with the hip. I perform hip arthroscopy and other hip joint preservation surgeries and offer PRP injections.
I perform a high number of hip and knee replacements and revision surgeries in the North West with excellent outcomes. I perform over 300 hip and knee replacements a year and over 50 revision procedures. I am one of the only surgeons who perform over 120 hip arthroscopy surgeries in Mersey and Cheshire region.

I enjoy spending time with my wife and two young children. I love taking them for walks and playing with them in the parks. Making them do their 'Kumon' homework is the difficult task to me!
I am a keen cricket player and played at league matches. I enjoy playing badminton and squash regularly.
