Mr Paul McArthur
Consultant Plastic and Hand Surgeon
MB BS, FRCSEd, PhD, FRCSEd (Plast)
I was appointed as a consultant in December 2003 and I am a member of the British association of plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgeons and the British association of aesthetic plastic surgeons. Since that time I have established a successful practice managing child and adult hand problems as well as general plastic surgical procedures. I have established an exploratory and successful private practice in the field of plastic surgery.
I also have an interest in hand and wrist surgery, having trained in two major centres in the UK. I have also spent a short period of time as a visiting professor in the Wakeforest University Department, North Carolina studying the use of botulinum toxin.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Mr Paul McArthur at Spire include:
Plastic and reconstructive surgery, hand and wrist surgery, management of paediatric hand, congenital hand problems of the upper limb spasticity and nerve surgery.
Spire Cheshire Hospital is only able to provide Covid-19 tests to patients undergoing surgery at our hospital. Covid-19 testing or antibody tests are not available as a standalone service.
