I manage most general urological conditions and am the lead clinician for the treatment of urological cancer at Darent Valley Hospital (DVH), Dartford. I am an expert laparoscopic and robotic surgeon. I have performed more than 700 major cancer operations (including prostate, bladder and kidney).

I specialise in prostate disease including BPH and prostate cancer – robotic prostatectomy, bladder problems including bladder cancer, kidney stones and Kidney (renal) cancer – laparoscopic nephrectomy, Urological oncology, laparoscopic procedures (keyhole surgery) eg laparoscopic pyeloplasty, laparoscopic varicocele ligation etc, LUTS, incontinence, impotence, testis related problems and most general urology conditions.

I use innovative techniques like targeted prostate biopsy (fusion biopsy) for better detection of prostate cancer and blue light cystoscopy for bladder cancers. I have also started various other new services at DVH including hyperthermia MMC for the treatment of bladder cancer and supported self-management for patients with prostate cancer. I am the winner of 'DVH hospital innovation and improvement award in 2015' for my innovation and introduction of new services. 

I have a regional and national profile. I am an expert advisor to NICE centre for guidelines and was involved in writing latest prostate cancer guidelines published in 2019. I am chairman of Urology tumour group at Kent and Medway cancer alliance. I have an interest in teaching and is actively involved in the laparoscopic training. I am a visiting professor with Canterbury Christchurch University.
