I trained at the internationally renowned Institute of Urology and am Clinical Director of urology and lead cancer surgeon at Medway Foundation Trust.

I am the founder and director of MISTIK (Minimally Invasive Surgery Teaching in Kent) and in partnership with Canterbury Christ Church University introduced a master’s programme in minimally invasive surgery.

I introduced a number of laparoscopic procedures in Kent, including radical prostatectomy, radical cystectomy and sacrocolpopexy with pelvic floor for prolapse.

In recognition of my contributions, I was awarded Honorary Doctorate by the University of Kent and invited to 10 Downing Street and Buckingham Palace.

I am a recognised philanthropist regularly participating in charity work.
