Professional profile

I am a urologist with a broad experience of over fifteen years. I specialise in recurrent urinary tract infections, prostate surgery for benign enlargement (UroLift, Green Light Laser, Prostatectomy), prostate cancer diagnosis and treatment of urgency and urge incontinence.

I was appointed to my current post, consultant urologist for Warwick Hospital, in 2013. I am one of a small number of female consultant urologists. Both female and male patients feel at ease with me when discussing problems of most intimate nature.

I was one of the first UK surgeons to undertake the UROLIFT procedure, a first-line treatment that gets men off BPH medications and allows them to avoid major surgery for benign prostatic hyperplasia and I have now carried out one of the highest volumes of the procedure in the Midland region.

I am also experienced in Green Light Laser Prostatectomy. I treat high numbers of patients with recurrent urinary tract conditions and am able to offer a personalised approach to this condition affecting many men and women. I have performed 25 UROLIFT procedures and over 100 Green Light Laser Prostatectomies.
