I am a highly experienced Specialist Orthoptist with expertise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye conditions. With over 13 years of experience in my current position at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust (formerly Heart of England NHS Trust), I am dedicated to providing exceptional care to patients.

My passion for helping patients with eye conditions led me to my current position, where I focus on the management of diplopia (double vision), and specialise in the assessment, diagnosis, and management of:

  • Neurogenic, mechanical and myogenic disorders of ocular motility (conditions that affect the movement of the eyes)
  • Adult and paediatric strabismus (squints) - when the eyes are misaligned. Amblyopia (lazy eye) - a condition where one eye doesn't develop properly

I graduated from the University of Sheffield in 2006 with a BMedSci (Hons) in Orthoptics. I began my career as an Orthoptist at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge before moving on to the Bradford Royal Infirmary.
