"Having worked with colleagues who have had nothing but praise for Spire Parkway, I am extremely pleased that I have been given the privilege to be part of this hospial."
Specialises in
Virtual consultations:
I specialise in hip and knee joint replacement surgery. I am proficient in all kinds of joint replacement surgery and use prosthetic components that have been rather high by the British Orthopaedic Association.
I have a vast 16 years of orthopaedic clinical experience, including a fellowship in lower limb arthroplasty surgery, 2 postgraduate orthopaedic degrees and over 5 years of consultant level experience in the NHS. I have been doing independent lower limb arthroplasty for well over seven years now. My NJR (National Joint Registry) consultant level report indicates more than the national average activity and is well within the average for patient related outcomes.
I am proficient in performing various simple and complex trauma procedures, including peri-articular (fractures around joints) and peri-prosthetic hip (fractures around prosthetic hip and knee) and knee fractures.
During the last 13 years in the NHS I have not only honed my subspecialist skill set in trauma and lower limb primary and revision arthroplasty, but also developed and maintained a strong track record in medical education, research with continual audit, quality improvement activity, peer reviewed publications and national and international presentations.
