As a highly qualified and experienced gynaecologist with over 25 years of clinical and academic experience in the field, I specialise in the management of various gynaecology cases including hormonal disorders, menstrual disorders, endometriosis, fibroids and chronic pelvic pain, as well as recurrent miscarriages.
I am a certified minimal invasive gynaecologic surgeon and offer management of ovarian cysts, vaginal/vulval lesions, hysteroscopic surgeries, laparoscopic and abdominal surgery including open myomectomy, laparoscopic sterilisation and laparoscopic/open hysterectomy.
I offer counselling to couples trying to conceive, helping them understand possible reasons for infertility. I can arrange full investigations for females and offer hysteroscopic surgery as well as laparoscopic surgery for endometriosis or peri-tubal adhesions and discussing options including medical treatment, surgical treatment or assisted conception.
I have 14 online publications in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and I am a fellow of Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRCOG) and work for the college as a member of portfolio pathway and Green Top Guidelines committees. I am also a senior academy tutor for medical school at Aston University and have held regional leadership roles as the smoke-free pregnancy lead for the Midlands (East and West).
