Professional profile

I am a Pain Consultant and started my UK training at King's College hospital then the Royal free hospital in London, later moving to the Midlands for more advanced pain training.

I have a wide experience and interest in different spinal, joint injections and radiofrequency ablation. I am skilled in fluoroscopic and ultrasound guided interventional pain management procedures including: facet joints, epidural injections and nerve block for neck, back and leg pain, radiofrequency ablation of nerves, pulsed radiofrequency treatments for neuropathic pain syndromes, sympathetic nerve block and radiofrequency treatment, central and peripheral nerve blocks and neuromodulation trigger points, shoulder and joints injections.

I have taken a keen interest in both national and international education. I rely on a sophisticated combination of medications, up to date interventional procedures, and wellness-based integrative techniques to enable patients to experience the maximum amount of long-term pain relief and daily function.

I am also clinical service lead for Pain, Therapies and Musculoskeletal services at the Royal Orthopaedic hospital in Birmingham, and have gained ample experience having worked as a Pain consultant at different UK hospitals, starting in Guildford, then Gloucestershire for more than three years and I am now back in the Midlands.
