I qualified in 1991 and have been a consultant in obstetrics and gynaecology at Heartlands Hospital since 2004. Conditions I treat include endometriosis, menorrhagia, pelvic pain, polycystic ovarian disease, menopause and ovarian cysts.
I have a weekly rapid access clinic for early detection of cancer. I also have weekly rapid response gynaecology clinics. I undertake weekly antenatal clinics and theatre sessions.
My main interests are gynaecology scanning, which includes early detection of gynaecology malignancy. I also carry out hysteroscopy procedures.
I have been a guideline, infection control and gynaecology lead at Heartlands and Solihull Hospitals.
I am a regional preceptor for teaching gynaecology scanning and I'm a regular trainer at the Regional TV scan course.
