Professional profile

I have over 20 years experience in the treatment of musculoskeletal conditions using a variety of manual techniques. I have a special interest in using Pilates based exercise to aid rehabilitation following an injury or surgery Prior to joining the physiotherapy team at Parkway Hospital, I worked at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital. as a Clinical Specialist in their knee clinic. I have a particular interest in the treatment of shoulder and knee injuries.

I work closely with our oncology department and cosmetic surgeons, and have developed a post-operative programme for ladies following breast re-constructive surgery and abdominoplasty. I also offer lymphoedema physiotherapy treatment.

Treatment of Lymphoedema and Lymphoedema Management. Muskuloskeletal out patients. Post-operative treatment of oncology patients, and patients following cosmetic surgery. Exercise for oncology patients including fitness training and pilates. Acupuncture, physiotherapy treatment of patients following re-constructive surgery for breast cancer.
