I am a Consultant Dermatologist at Spire Parkway Hospital. I began my medical career at Bonn University in Germany, where I graduated in November 1993. The following year, I moved to the UK, drawn by the opportunities to specialise in Dermatology.

My initial training was in General Medicine, leading to my membership in the Royal College of Physicians in London in 1999. Dermatology always fascinated me, and I further honed my skills in this field in the West Midlands training programme.

My clinical expertise covers a wide range of skin conditions, including eczema, psoriasis, acne, rosacea, pigmentary disorders, hair loss, benign skin lesions, mole screening, and both melanoma and non-melanoma skin cancer treatment.

Since January 2006, I've been serving as a Consultant Dermatologist at the Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust (HEFT). Following its merger with University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust in April 2018, I continued my role there. I have a special interest in paediatric dermatology and lead a weekly clinic focused on this area. Additionally, I'm committed to educating the next generation of dermatologists and regularly train specialist registrars in my clinic.

From November 2008 until 2016, I also took on the role of Skin Cancer Lead for the Trust, a responsibility that deeply enriched my professional experience. In my practice, I conduct weekly skin cancer clinics, general dermatology consultations, and skin surgery sessions.

Over the years, I've had the privilege of sharing my knowledge and findings at various regional, national, and international medical conferences. My passion for research is reflected in my numerous contributions to peer-reviewed Dermatology journals, particularly in the areas of Paediatric Dermatology and Skin Oncology.

I believe in offering compassionate, patient-centred care, and I'm here to support you in your journey to healthier skin. Whether you're dealing with a chronic skin condition or seeking advice on skin cancer prevention and treatment, I'm here to help with expert advice and effective treatment options.
