I graduated from Bonn University, Germany in November 1993 and moved to the UK in 1994 since this offered me the widest opportunity to pursue a career in Dermatology.

I trained in General Medicine and became a member of the Royal College of Physicians (London) in 1999. Following this, I specialized in Dermatology on the West Midlands training programme in 5 separate busy departments.

I have presented at Regional, National and International meetings.

I have had a significant Research Interest and have published in several peer reviewed Dermatology journals. These include publications in Paediatric Dermatology and in Skin Oncology.

Since January 2006 I have been a Consultant Dermatologist at the Heart of England NHS Foundation Trust (HEFT).

Since November 2008 I have been the Skin Cancer Lead for the Trust.
