I trained locally in the West Midlands and understand the needs of the local population. I was also awarded FFPMRCA, the benchmark qualification recognised by the Faculty of Pain Management (Royal College of Anaesthetists).
I am proficient in all aspects of back & neck pain management. I routinely perform epidural injections, nerve root blocks, cervical/thoracic/lumbar facet joint injections and medial branch blocks. I also perform sacroiliac joint injections, trochanteric bursa, occipital nerve and trigger point injections. I am currently the Clinical Lead (Pain Management) at Solihull, Heartlands & Good Hope Hospitals.
I was also appointed an Honorary Research Fellow at Solihull Pain Research Clinic, which has given me a unique insight into the management of complex painful conditions.
One of my key objectives is to support the improvement of cancer pain services, which I feel passionately about.
