I have been a Consultant Colorectal and Laparoscopic Surgeon in Nottingham since 2005. I trained in Belfast, Oxford and St Mark’s.

I am currently the chair of the Research and Audit Committee of The Association of Coloproctology of Great Britain and Ireland.

I have research interests in clinical trials and a chief investigator of three NIHR multi-centre funded portfolio RCTs looking at the response to iron treatment in patients with cancer.
