I am a Consultant Cardiologist specialising in the assessment and management of chest pain, breathlessness, palpitations, dizziness, blackouts, heart valve disease, cardiomyopathy, high blood pressure, and cholesterol disorders. I see private patients at Spire Nottingham Hospital, offering a one-stop service where ECG and echocardiography can often be performed during the same visit, helping to provide timely answers and a clear treatment plan.
My specialist expertise is in advanced cardiac imaging. I perform over 400 cardiac MRI scans and more than 400 specialist echocardiography studies each year and hold full accreditation from both the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging (EACVI Level 3 Cardiac MRI) and the British Society of Echocardiography in both transthoracic and transoesophageal echocardiography. By combining advanced cardiac MRI and echocardiography, I am able to support accurate diagnosis and tailored treatment plans for both common and complex heart conditions.
I graduated from the University of Leicester Medical School with First-Class Honours and was awarded the John MacVicar Prize. I subsequently completed a British Heart Foundation-funded PhD in cardiovascular medicine. I am a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology and an Honorary Senior Lecturer at the University of Leicester.
I was recognised by Doctify for Outstanding Patient Experience in 2026.
